Independent app developer
Creator of Waypoint
Connor Boyd is developing Waypoint to help military members and families bring the many details of a move into one organized plan.
Waypoint focuses on flexible checklists, clear next steps and tools users can adapt to their own circumstances. This website introduces the project and its developer as work continues toward an Android release.
Waypoint is not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security or any military branch. Your orders and official installation requirements take priority. The app does not approve travel, calculate guaranteed entitlements or replace military counseling.
Not yet. The Android edition is in development. There is no public Google Play listing or installation download at this time.
Yes. The web prototype has PCS, separation and retirement paths, with tasks selected according to the user’s answers. Local outprocessing requirements must still be confirmed with the member’s unit.
The web prototype checks notifications only while its page is running. Scheduled background reminders for the Android edition still need implementation and device testing. Calendar exports can be imported into your phone’s calendar; verify its alert settings.
The current prototype saves in the browser on the device being used. It does not automatically sync. Export and Import let you back up or transfer a plan. Import replaces the destination browser’s current plan.
This informational page does not ask for military records, personal move details or payment information. It has no signup or purchase form. The hosting service may process technical request information needed to deliver the page. This page is separate from the private planner prototype.
